Oil Jumps Again! Stocks felt the hurt mid last week when Oil prices jumped again. This due in part to the attack on the Saudi Oil Facility

Sanctions, Russia & Fertilizer: Russia is one the largest exporters of nitrogen fertilizer and sanctions from the West have heavily disrupted shipments which have caused prices to soar. This could lead to a hunger crisis in much of the world. Fertilizer is up 40% from February. A Nigerian Billionaire is looking to solve the fertilizer problem. 

Tax Refund for Gas Price Problems: Cali Gov. Newsome is proposing a $400 tax refund to each resident for every registered vehicle they own. Other states are debating on whether to follow Gov. Newsoms lead (Given the Governors track record, following his lead is probably not a smart move). A tax refund sounds good but it is a band aid on a bullet wound. The US as a whole needs to work on becoming a net exporter of energy again, but don't hold your breath. 

Moderna Holding on for more $$$: Moderna is seeking authorization to release its Covid-19 Vaccine for children ages 6 months to 5 years. The more boosters and the more vaccines = more money for Pharmaceutical companies like Moderna & Pfizer, who have struggled mightily in stock performance over the last three months.

C3 is not a fan of BlackRock, but Mr. Fink is onto something here as western European countries are starting to spend more on military and in house energy production.
