They did invert back on 4/1 & 4/4 for a split second, but things look better now. Fed Rate Hikes are not all Doom & Gloom! Believe it or not, the market usually does pretty well during Fed rate Hikes, historically speaking. However, the time after the Fed Rate hikes stop are usually when a recession is near.

 

CNN+ Fails, Oh Joy! CNN tried launching their subscriber based streaming platform late last month and they fell way short of suspected sign-ups. The most "dishonest" name in news is hopefully realizing what we all already know. The vast majority of the public are not buying what they are selling!

 

Companies paying for Abortion expenses: Major Companies are announcing that they will pay for travel to get an abortion out-of-state for employees who live in Texas and Oklahoma (you know the states trying to save the lives of babies). Shrink-Flation is underway: Pepsi Co., and other food distributors are shrinking the sizes of their products to make it look like prices are not going up. A normal bag of Doritos now comes with 5 less chips and Gatorade packaging is slightly smaller.

TX Gov. Abbott + Immigration Policy + Mexican Truckers = More supply Chain Woes: TX is predicted to experience a HUGE influx of immigrants in the coming months due to a covid era bill going away that would allow more migrants to cross the border. Abbott is doing everything he can to beef up border security to stop the influx but Mexican Truckers are not happy because of increased wait times and more protocols to follow. All this means more supply chain issues.
