Not sure if this is actually a Thomas Sowell quote, but you have to love it. As we face increased gas prices and more and more inflation while the powers at be push climate hysteria and inefficient "clean" energy instead of reliable Coal or even Nuclear, we must take a moment and just laugh at the stupidity on display.

Snap Inc. Fell almost 40% in the last five days. Snap is the social media platform that owns the popular app Snapchat. Snapchat has not been profitable and is relatively small compared to other social platforms, but it is extremely addictive to kids and has dabbled in pedaling pornography. This downturn in Snap and other social platforms is because ads are dying. Ads are just not as effective as they once were because of inflation, less spend by advertisers, and consumers being a bit fatigued by ad bombardment.

 

Uvalde Texas School Shooting: Another horrific incident that has left at least 19 children and 2 adults dead is sparking another Gun Control Debate. Do we limit the number of guns in circulation and outlaw "More Powerful" Firearms (DEMs position)? Or do we start to arm school security and try to treat the root problem of this violence, namely, the culture (REPs Position)? OR a combination of both? Most likely nothing will happen because of the constant gridlock in Government. That means it falls on who it should, parents. We must teach and protect our children the best we can. May God have mercy on us all and grant us Wisdom.

 

The human population is at all-time highs, and it may never go higher. During the 2021 pandemic year the birth rate in America rose by 1% which is the only uptick we have seen since 2014. However, the pandemic birthrate is still below the replacement rate. Meaning America and many other first world countries have more people dying then being born. This has a lot to do with the culture that first world countries produce.
