Stocks ticking higher as the Fed makes people think that they will loosen up on the rate hikes. This is reinforced by the wholesale inflation report coming in cooler than expected.
Trump is running in 2024. After your done booing or cheering at that news, take the time to set your emotions aside and pray over whether this is our Lord's will. Politics can be overly
emotional, and that emotion can lead to many ills. Many saints have given the sound advice to do away with the fleeting emotions and pursue the good despite your feelings. This advice should be followed in politics and life in general.
Walmart stock is up because Tyson
Foods stock is down. People may think inflation is over because Walmart and other low-cost grocery stores are doing well, but inflation is exactly why they are doing well. Tyson Foods is struggling because people are bypassing chicken and beef, for cheaper protein sources like hotdogs, beans and peanut butter. Going for the cheaper options obviously helps Walmart in a big way.
The fastest growing social media platform of 2022 seems to have a Child Pornography and Chinese Espionage problem. I'm sure this comes as a shocker to everyone! (Sarcasm
intended). With over 200 million downloads of TikTok in the US, it is safe to say that Americans have completely embraced the app, and many investors are excited about TikTok's parent company ByteDance going public so they can reap the financial benefits of this Chinese powerhouse. The FTX implosion has sent Cryptos across the board plummeting to some of the worst lows in years. BTC is at just over $16K at the time of this writing. For those that don't know, FTX, a major crypto exchange, recently filed for bankruptcy. The documents revealed that FTX is facing more than 100,000
creditors and the number could balloon to 1M. Only a few weeks ago, FTX and its founder Sam Bankman-Fried was a Crypto darling who was touted as being innovative and an industry leader. This of course all changed when the world found out what was going on behind closed doors. Read a good summary of the story HERE. The speculative nature of crypto makes the FTX situation something that all exchanges should be fearful of.
FTX owner Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) comes from a
well-connected family that heavily supports the Left side of politics here in the US. SBF donated $39M to democrats in the recent midterm elections and he was preparing to contribute $1B to keep Democrats in the Whitehouse in 2024.
White Castle and Jack in the Box are automating drink filling and food-frying thanks to Miso. Miso is a robotics company that is starting to crack the $675B Fast-Food market. Miso is available to invest in right now, but should we be supporting more automation? We keep trying to displace people in exchange for profits and ease, but as C3 keeps stating, this mentality only leads to our ever-increasing levels of depression, anxiety and materialism. Remember, just because something is
easy doesn't mean it is good. Plus, the whole reaping where you have not sown thing.
President Joe Biden and President Xi Jingping are resuming talks. The most prominent topic of discussion we are told is climate
change.
Google paid almost $400 million to settle a multistate privacy
investigation. Companies like Google and Meta have so much cash that paying out these massive amounts because of privacy violations are sometimes worth it. Pay to keep doing the illegal thing if the illegal thing brings in more money than the penalty cost.
Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield are launching an edible cannabis product called "Holy Ears." If that doesn't make you chuckle, then you may not be human. If the reference is lost on you, then go look up their fight from 1997. Cannabis products keep growing and this may be for ill, but at least we can take some joy entrepreneurial spirit of America can prompt one of the greatest virtues, forgiveness. To the cynics saying it's a clever cash grab gimmick, let us have this one.
EVERYTHING ELSE...

Down about the midterms? Mad at C3 for not giving out
stock picks anymore? Is your brain fried after consuming so much market news? Well, have a laugh at the latest from the Babylon Bee...
