Stocks started the week out strong and Palantir reported its first-ever profitable quarter. Yet, stocks started to sink yesterday because inflation came in hotter
than expected. The CPI inflation report says that the CPI rose 6.4% annually in January
and .5% over the course of the month. Yet, inflation is still less than December's annual rate of 6.5%
The influencer market economy hit $16.4B in 2022, but that all is on the decline thanks to a new trend of deinfluencing. This is a
repercussion of ad-heavy social media. The deinfluencing is encouraging people not to buy things and to save their money. This trend has over 155 million videos dedicated to the hashtag on TikTok alone. Some market research has shown that Gen Zers interest in influencers has dropped more than 12% since 2020. With some prayer and through the Grace of God, hopefully, it drops much more this year!!
The CDC says that 57% of teenage girls feel "persistently sad or hopeless" as of 2021. About 30% of teenage girls say they have seriously
considered suicide. Want to take a few wild guesses as to why this is the case? I mean who could have guessed that addictive social media, disconnected & broken families, and a hyper sexualized culture would wreak havoc on the mental states of our youngest and most vulnerable? But hey, at least we all got iPhones, and those things are great, I mean you can access social media with just a few clicks, and they act as great barriers between you and those annoying loved ones your supposed to
spend time with! Anyone starting to put 2 and 2 together out there?
Women’s clothes is more expensive than men's clothes on average. Shocker I know! everything from underwear to T-shirts are a bit
pricier in the women's section. What is the reason for this great injustice that the Washington Post and others feel the need to write about? It turns out women like more intricate designs, brighter colors, and more custom-cut clothing than men do. all of these things add costs to the production of the clothes. I personally can't believe that my go-to outfit of a plain hoodie and clearance rack wranglers would cost more than the typical women’s outfit.
Fun Fact: Italian restaurants make just as much of a killing on Valentine’s Day as Chocolate companies. Italian restaurants beat out every other type of restaurant for
Valentine’s Day reservations.
Manhattan is losing $12 billion a year because of remote work. It turns out people are not going out to lunch or spending money as much on
anything since they can work from home and raid their own fridge whenever they get hungry. This is one of the many reasons why employers overall want people to stop remote work.

Google and Microsoft are in an AI battle for search engine supremacy. Google is of course king when it comes to peoples preferred
search engine but Microsoft has linked up with CHatGPT and this is putting pressure on google and their own AI software Bard. No matter who wins we will probably lose, because the internet will still be dominated by one of the Big Tech giants who are committed to pushing secular values on the culture.
