Kraft and Pepsi want price hikes but Wal-Mart
and Whole Foods say price hikes are a non-starter and prefer to promote their own in-house brands. Walmart earnings are the key to what will give. However, Kraft has already put a pause on their projected 2023 price hikes. Kraft Mac and Cheese is a staple in most households, but if more people don’t mind choosing the Great Value brand, Kraft may see significant losses.
