The newsletter is coming a day early this week, because of a family emergency. C3 is a one man show by yours truly, and my sister is having brain surgery Today and Wednesday to remove two tumors. Therefore, Tuesday is newsletter day instead of Wednesday. A bit of background...My sister went blind at the age of 4 because of tumors on her optic nerve. She received radiation at that tender age and this radiation has caused two more tumors on her brain. She is now 34 years old and doctors are shocked she has made it this far. If anyone is willing, please pray for God's Will to be done in this very long and extensive surgery. We hope for healing and hope even more for saint hood.

Hedge Funds Make Bearish Moves in the Market.

The Stock Market is seeing some gains as of late because of the debt ceiling crisis being avoided and the AI driven tech stocks pulling the market as a whole. However, bearish bets on the market have not been this high since 2007 per the WSJ. A record $107 billion shorts have been placed on the S&P 500 by hedge funds. Investors seem to think this rally in the market will be short lived and we are still in a bear market overall. However, bigger players need to cover these short positions by investing into the market and this has fueled the current rally. It is all dictated by the powerful. Self-fulfilling prophecies.

The economy gained 339,000 payroll jobs in May.

The Dow Jones only predicted the labor market would add 190,000 jobs, but this number was blown away by that 339,000 number. Many of the people who entered payroll work in May were not people who found a job after being out of work, rather they were self-employed people that opted for the security of a traditional employer. This is why these numbers have not given a lot of confidence to our short betting hedge fund managers in the story above. Institutional investors think the labor markets growth is not going to rally the market for the long-term. Though, investors do think the interest rates will remain flat at a 3-1 clip.
