Stories of the Week
Evil Stocks you need to purge.
Maybe you don't agree with C3 that the stock market in of itself is illicit and counter to Christian Morality. Yet, I don't think anyone would disagree that there are
some nefarious companies on the stock market that the Christian should avoid. The problem is that the most commonly held stocks are actually the most opposed to Christianity.
I have made
the argument in the past that no real ownership takes place, and a company only receives the indirect benefit of brand promotion and no real financial gain when a stock is purchased. But even if the benefits to these terrible companies are small when you buy their stock, you are still providing them some kind of benefit and communicating to the rest of the world that we should overlook the evil for the sake of profits and that just does not fit within Christian practice.
Yields on the 10-year treasury bonds are at their highest levels in years. Not good news for potential home buyers, but great news for economic growth.

The silent majority is dead! Apparently, everyone loves the Barbie movie and hates the patriarchy. The doll movie reached $1 billion this past weekend and remains number
one.
Does anyone think the cage match between Mark Zuckerburg and Elon Musk will actually happen? I don't support Martial Arts sports for entertainment purposes, but I may make an exception if this one happens. All revenue for the match is supposed to help veterans.
Fully Remote work is going the way of the dinosaur as companies continue to try and get workers back in the office to save productivity. Google is giving employees discounted hotel stays.
Pray for Ohio, they have an amendment up for vote that will solidify rights to baby murdering. Let's pray people in Ohio sees the value of human life.
17% of new car buyers agreed to a $1,000
monthly payment. Thank God for my used minivan payment!! If I had to pay that for a car, then I would definitely have to live off ramen noodles.
More than 11,000 sanitation and Airport workers in LA are staging a walk-off to demand more resources and bodies to help do the jobs that need to get
done.
Oil prices are booming, but people are not going into oil and gas related majors at colleges. All that green energy talk is convincing young college kids that oil is a dying industry when it is anything but.
Hidenburg Research hasshaved $99 billion from the combined wealth of Gautam Adani, Jack Dorsey, and Carl Icahn this year and caused the value of public companies they own to plunge by $173
billion.
