I am sure my audience gets the issue of life thrown down their throats at every turn, and rightfully so, this culture of death the world has embraced is absolutely demonic. We as the Body of Christ need to fight against the demonic especially when the target of the evil is children.
But for today, I want to talk about the economic effects of this death culture.
This death culture I am referring to is not just the obvious sin of abortion but also contraceptive culture and childlessness overall. Okay, I know what you are
thinking...Marc, you are about to do a bait and switch on me!! You say this death culture is making us poor and I thought you were going to say it is making us poor in pocket, but you are going to say how it is making us poor spiritually, aren't you?! No, I am not! I do not think the readers of this newsletter need to be reminded that abortion and death culture will destroy us spiritually. I am actually going to make the case that childlessness is a bad economic option.
There is no shortage of studies out there showcasing how dual income, no kids (DINK) households out earn their dual income with kids (DIWK) counterparts. Plus, when you factor in that a lot of households with kids only have one income the disparity between
childless adult earners compared to parents is pretty vast. However, there is a silver lining for parents (excluding all that purpose of life and spiritual fruit stuff). That silver lining is that parents are more likely to practice and vote for generational wealth building policies.
It is no secret that the childless are more likely to vote liberal and left and the parents of the world are more likely to vote conservative. The childless also have the ability to spend more on themselves promoting consumerism for the sake of consumerism, while parents are still active consumers, they often spend with another person in mind which makes their purchases more purposeful towards human beings and less about consumption.
It is a weird problem, that I am trying to lay out here in a very brief write-up. Essentially, childless people will on average make more money in their life than parents, but parents are more likely to push forward the economy via sound fiscal practices. If we
continue to engage in the culture of death and childlessness, then our culture will eventually end up poor and unable to grow in tangible ways. This is why the richest man in the world, Elon Musk, is dead set on having as many kids as possible. It is not because he wants to be a stereotypical Irish Catholic, it is because he sees an economic problem brewing!
I could write a book on this topic, so please excuse my lack of nuance and explanation in this short article!! God Bless!
