Monthly Message - VC's and Masturbation = $4B
Venture capitalists are investing massive sums into the $4 billion sperm bank industry. Why? It’s simple math. A widely cited 2017 study by Dr. Shanna Swan reported that sperm counts among men in the Western world
(North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand) have dropped by about 60% since 1973. To venture capitalists, this isn’t a crisis—it’s an opportunity. An entire population increasingly unable to reproduce yet still wants children has turned the shrinking number of men with viable sperm into a commodity.
Some celebrities, including Orlando Bloom and Justin Bieber, have even
expressed moral support for sperm donation, framing it as a social good—even a “duty.” But let’s call it what it is: the commercialization of and capitalization on what was once seen as sexual deviance. It’s a strange and unsettling marriage of financial speculation and sexual liberalism—one that should turn anyone’s stomach. And yet, it’s become just another normalized aspect of a society that is ruled by the enemy.
The biggest irony? The study—and most articles reporting on it—often include the claim: “The reasons for the reduced sperm counts are unclear.” Really? Unclear to whom? People living under a rock?
The bitter irony is that one of the most obvious contributors to this crisis—chronic masturbation—is now being promoted as a solution through sperm
donation. In other words, the "remedy" for falling fertility rates is to encourage the very habits that helped cause the problem in the first place.
To be fair, declining sperm counts are caused by a range of factors. Here’s a short list: pornography, poor diet, lack of exercise, sleep deprivation, excessive screen time, and—most importantly—the erosion of a moral foundation rooted in
the belief in God. So, what do we do about it?
If we accept the popular culture and the financial industry for what they are—equal parts ignorant and corrupt—then we need to take matters into our own hands. Here’s a short and practical list of rules that can increase your sperm count and, frankly, improve your life overall:
10 Rules to Reclaim Your Health and Soul
- Follow the OG list—the Ten Commandments. You may have heard of them. They’re in a fairly popular book called The Bible.
- Get off your phone.
- Stop watching porn and
fornicating.
- Stop engaging in financial speculation—yes, that includes the stock market.
- Eat and drink in moderation, especially avoid processed junk.
- Side note: Soda is a dessert, not a beverage.
- Exercise a few times a week—at the very least, take
regular walks.
- Go to sleep at a decent hour.
- (Note to self: I need to follow this one too.)
- Pray every day for God’s will to be done in your life.
- Read something spiritually nourishing every day.
- Hint: That Bible thing could be of use here.
- Or just ignore 1-9 and become a practicing and devout Catholic. If you do, you’ll naturally find yourself doing 1–9 anyway—no extra charge.
While this message is written with some tongue-in-cheek humor, it may be the most
important thing I’ve put together. The world is full of evils, but they all have the same remedy: follow Jesus Christ.
God bless the good work being done by some politicians and business leaders, but no human effort—no matter how noble—will ever create utopia. At best, their work can bring incremental benefits. Ultimately, it’s up to you to live a better, more meaningful life, no
matter the cards you’ve been dealt. Therefore, be a leader. Lead by example. And follow the only true leader—Jesus Christ.
If you are someone experiencing infertility—whether due to past choices or medical issues—know that the Lozano family is praying for you.
